The fifteenth sequel of LanCraft, marked as FPS event, was strictly dedicated to Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6. Eight teams struggled each other until team-uber became the absolute winners. Top teams were rewarded with tons of video-games provided by CD Projekt and then the LAN party program advanced to the highly expected point of the 2on2 Laser Game tournament. LanCraft FPS Spring 2k9

Historically first LanCraft devoted to FPS games opened its gates in April 2009. The major events consisted of Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake III Arena Quake III Arena and Quake 4 Quake 4. More than 100 visitors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland found their ways in so the LAN party was successful in a whole although there was another much larger event held in Hungary that was preferred by many European players.

Besides the traditional snack bar food with a draft beer and alcohol/alcohol-free beverages there were many leisure time activities such as table football or building a tower from pizza boxes where the winner made a 96-boxes-tall tower. When it got darker, all the visitors were able to try an outdoor laser game Begeara and to imagine to be in the position of their controlled game characters.

The major tournament in Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6 was conquered by Snoopy just before the midnight whereas Quake III: Arena needed more time and the champion was known even on Sunday noon - the Polish representatives succeeded in both Q3 events. First place in Quake 4 Quake 4 was taken by home player Krysa.

LanCraft Summer 2k8

The eleventh LAN party in Rymarov lasted four days for the first time in its history. While Thursday belonged only to the best players in StarCraft: Brood War StarCraft: Brood War struggling for the title of Czech and Slovak Champion, very next three days offered multiple tournaments for every participant interested in measuring his strength with the others in various computer games. Besides the high number of Czech and Slovak players there were also representatives of Poland who did well by seizing the first place in the tournament of Defense of the Ancients Defense of the Ancients after beating the two-time winners of previous LanCrafts.

Both games StarCraft: Brood War StarCraft: Brood War and WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne were dominated by Slovak participants so that the home players had to settle only for the title of local champions in StarCraft from Thursday. The traditional accessories of LanCrafts such as many supporting tournaments, refreshments and a big screen with live matches were not missing andcertainly there were no one leaving the event displeased.

LanCraft Spring 2k8

Tenth anniversary of LanCraft held in April rewrote the history. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Electronic Arts we could included Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars in the supported games. Besides the large number of participants, there were also unmatched prize money - speaking in numbers, the house of culture was crowded with 200 players from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland playing for about 50.000 CZK.

For the second time in hostory of LAN parties in Rymarov, we had no winner from the Czech Republic in any tournament. Three Polish players and one Slovak team took the highest prices and even the Czech fixed star of WarCraft, Giacomo, were not able to extend his winning spree on LanCraft. However, vast amount of supporting activities such as table football tournament or eating discounted pizza saved the day even for the losers.

LanCraft Summer 2k7

The other LanCraft of year 2007 had to deal with a very low visit rate. Even foreigners did not arrive in numbers we were used to see, although two major tournament titles were taken by Slovak representatives - MaiX won 1on1 SC:BW and SGC dominated in the brand new event of 5on5 DotA. Czech honors were finally saved by local fixed star Giacomo who won through to his fifth LanCraft victory in a row in 1on1 W3:TFT. Besides these tournaments, there were also five supporting events including table soccer tour so that everyone must have been satisfied.

LanCraft Spring 2k7

After a very naughty event in autumn affected by many unpleasant holdbacks, there were next sequel held in spring perfectly organised. Both the major tournaments started newly on Saturday morning and were finished before midnight. It would have been no LanCraft without supporting tours and this time, it was not different. Players who had failed in the major tours could enjoy competitions in table soccer, DotA 3on3, Trackmania and many others. Polish gosu Draco proved to be in a good shape and took 1st place of SC:BW, while W3:TFT title was taken by no one less-known than Giacomo.

Rymarov Spring 2k6

The seventh LAN party in Rymarov took place in March/April 2006. The main Brood War event was notably enriched with the participation of two Swedish representatives, Greeks and Poles. Unfortunately the entire tour was fairly delayed due to local dancing lessons which were quite longer than usual. Moreover some network problems occured just afterwards and the accumulated shortfall of time caused the finals to be played online a few days later on. Starcraft trophy was finally taken by Mireille and Warcraft tour was traditionally dominated by Giacomo.

Rymarov Summer 2k5

This time, because of inaccessibility of the house of culture in Rymarov, the tourney took place in the middle of September. No doubts it was one of the biggest Central-European LAN parties. There were two games on schedule (BW, W3) to compete in with more than hundred players from the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also from other countries. Besides 1on1 main tournament there were also 2on2 and micro tournaments so that really everyone must have been satisfied. Both winners (Draco in SC:BW and Giacomo in W3:TFT) defended their first place from Spring 2k5. Players carried away not only experience from the games but also from the adventurous journeys to the nearby snack-bars and pubs.

Rymarov Spring 2k5

First time when a new event emerged. The organizers decided to add WarCraft III: Frozen Throne tournament but unfortunately the response from players was unexpectable low - about 30 players took part. On the other hand the LAN in the whole was more successful than the previous one as usual. There were more than 100 players with own computers, record number of Polish players and also a traditional guest from Germany, FisheYe[pG], found the way although he had to be brought from the nearby city of Olomouc in the middle of night. Despite unceasing effort of CDS)Jump the main admin, the major tournaments were not finished as scheduled which resulted in finishing the finals in almost empty hall.

BW Summer 2k4 Rymarov

The fourth tournament was called BW Summer 2k4 and a challenge for the admins at the same time to improve the organization and ensure a smooth running of the main event compared to BW Spring 2k4. Again there were approximately 200 people interested in playing computer games or observing the others and again [pG]FiSheYe came. Although he was supposed to win the main tournament as he had done on BW Spring 2k3, he did not fulfil the expectations and ended only 4th. We have also some photos in our Photo Gallery taken on this event.

BW Spring 2k4 Rymarov

BW Spring 2k4 was a major breakthrough in playing games competitively not only by the space required for the tournament itself but also by given support from CMSP (Czech Pro-Gaming Association). There were more than 60 computers thanks to BYOC system and also some fee-paying observers. Additional feature attracting more players was a friend of Destroyer - [pG]FiSheYe, a German gosu who had reached 2nd place on WCG2003 just a few months ago. It was simply a great meeting worsened only by inorganization of admins.

BW Summer 2k3 Rymarov

The admins waited no longer and announced a brand new tournament called DA BW Summer 2k3 Rymarov by analogy. There was a huge mass of participants expected and that is why the whole event moved to a larger area - the local house of culture. The response was outstanding and more than 100 players found their way to the LAN party even some players from Poland. The event therefore became the largest only BW LAN party ever held.

BW Spring 2k3 Rymarov

Historically the first tournament. It all began when a couple of BW fans from foothills of Jeseniky Mountains decided to organize a small gathering of people who know each other only from Battle.net. Nobody expected such a high attendance (54 palyers) not only from the Czech Republic but also from Slovakia. The event was successful in a whole and everybody enjoyed himself immensely.

All these BW Spring 2k3 participants was so full of impressions that they demanded some similar event to be organized. Moreover the echo of the first tournament attracted many new players who also wanted to experience the unusual atmosphere.
