It's the time to present the prize money for the main tournaments at LanCraft Spring 2k8. Here we go:

3rd place: 1 000 CZK (cca 40 EUR)

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: 20.000 CZK (cca 800 EUR)
1st place: 10 000 CZK (cca 400 EUR)

3rd place: 2 000 CZK (cca 80 EUR)
4th place: 1 000 CZK (cca 40 EUR)
5th - 8th place: 500 CZK (cca 20 EUR)

The prizemoney for BW, W3 and DOTA depend on the number of players who actually come to LanCraft, the current prize money is calculated for a fully occupied BYOC (110 places). If the BYOC isn't full, the prize money will decrease depending on the number of free places. But so far everything seems that it will not happen. Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars has its prizemoney sure thanks to EA corp. who sponsored this tournament.

Don't forget that all BYOC players are able to participate in the Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars main tournament, all you have to do is tick it in your profile. We have 64 CDs with original CD keys available for this tournament.

All Warcraft 3:TFT players who have paid their ticket to LanCraft Spring 2k8 will be able to play a tournament for free entrance on Saturday April 4th 2008.

The tournament will be held on the Northrend (Europe) battle.net gateway on the channel"lancraft".
The tournament starts at 15:00 CET.

You surely know that the pizzeria Karolina has been the best source of food for LanCraft participants.

Everyone in LanCraft Spring 2k8 will have a 10 CZK (cca 0,3 EUR) discount from any pizza he orders there.
In addition, the pizzeria will close at midnight every day so you don't have to worry for a night meal.

There will be an internet connection for the BYOC players higher then it was last time. We will have a 4mbit / 5 mbit (DL/UL) internet connection. Part of this speed is reserved for an internet TV that should come to Rymarov.
All peer-to-peer download(eg. DC++, torrent) programs are strictly forbidden.
Anyone caught using any of these programs will be cut from the internet immediately.

We managed to get several monitors for rent.
if you need to hire a monitor for the LanCraft weekend, send an email to jump@progamers.cz. The price for a monitor is 100 CZE (cca 4 EUR) for the whole event.

The longer distance you have to go to Rymarov, the higher priority you will get.

The monitors are from other players so there are various sizes.

Only 17 days left to the beginning of the 10th LAN party in Rymarov. There are many reasons why to come, everyone has his own but most people definitely come to enjoy the great event and spend a weekend with their friends that is part of the gaming with no doubts.

There is stil a chance to pay in advance and get access to make your seat reservation for a BYOC spot until the end of March which means Monday, March 31st. Also don't forget about possible discounts and many ways how not to pay at all:

- participation on LanCraft Summer 2k7 - discount 50 CZK (c. €2.00)
- participation on LanCraft Summer and Spring 2k7 - discount 100 CZK (c. €4.00)
- entrance fee for ladies is fixed at 100 CZK (c. €4.00)
- the best referrer whose referred players pay in advance gets to LanCraft Spring 2k7 for free
- the winner of the competition for the best wallpaper gets to LanCraft Spring 2k7 for free
- the winner of a tournament that will be organized after the number of registered and paid players reaches 16, 32 or 48 players gets to LanCraft Spring 2k7 for free

If you're planning to come to LanCraft Spring 2k8 with your own computer this news is very important for you.

There's a limited number of free spots in BYOC area. The highest possible number of BYOC(bring your own computer) players is 100. Because of 96 registered BYOC players we strongly recommend you to not only register but also use the way of paying in advance because you will have your place for sure and with a chance to make a reservation for specific spot.

Right now there are 39 players with paid BYOC spot.

One of the most played strategy games of the past. Red Alert 2, the game where everyone was the best. The game that was so successful because of its speed, fun and great battles.
Surely everyone of you can remember the times when you played this game and it was one of the most favourite games.

We're glad to announce that besides other tournaments there will be also a small tournament in Red Alert 2.This tournament will start on Saturday 17CET when all the main tournaments will be nearly finished.

Everyone who will have his own computer (BYOC) will be able to play this tournament. Entry fee for this tournament will be free and the winner will be rewarded with an interesting prize.

Are you talented? Trying to be an artist? Are you going to come to LANCraft Spring 2k8? Maybe one of you will get lucky and will win this competition.

Thanks to our cooperation with Electronic Arts, we're glad to announce the prizes for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.

We were given 20.000,- CZK (c. €715.00) for the C&C 3: Tiberium Wars tournament. It will be divided as follows:

1st place: 10.000,- CZK (c. €350.00)
2nd place: 5.000,- CZK (c. €175.00)
3rd place: 2.000,- CZK (c. €70.00)
4th place: 1.000,- CZK (c. €35.00)
